Youth Lock In - Red Deer • The Summit Edmonton Church

We’re so excited for our upcoming Summit Youth Lock-In! This overnight event will be happening May 22–23, 2026 in Red Deer, AB and is a great opportunity for students to build friendships, have fun, and grow in their faith.

We will be traveling by bus, departing from The Summit Edmonton on May 22 at 5:15pm and returning on May 23 at approximately 7:30pm.

The Health History is correct so far as I know, and the person herein described has permission to engage in all prescribed activities except as noted. Emergency Authorization - I hereby give permission to medical personnel selected by The Summit Church/event staff to order X-rays, routine tests, and treatment for my student. In the event of an emergency, if neither my primary contact nor secondary can be reached, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by the Authorized Agent to hospitalize, secure proper treatment, order injections and/or anesthesia and/or surgery to my student. I further authorize the release of the above medical information to appropriate medical personnel and/or the health coverage insurance company. In addition, I have, and do hereby, release The Summit Church, its employees or agents from liability associated with participation in a church activity. I understand that if I do not have medical insurance, I, as the parent or guardian, will be responsible for any medical expenses in the event of a sickness and/or injury.

To ensure a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment for all students, we ask that each participant agrees to the following:

Students must respect leaders, peers, and the facilities at all times.
Students are expected to stay with the group and not leave designated areas.
No possession or use of drugs, alcohol, vaping devices, or any illegal substances.
No inappropriate behavior, including bullying, harassment, disrespectful language, or any form of physical intimacy
Physical safety is important—no unsafe play, or behavior that could result in injury.

If a student is unable to follow these expectations, leaders will address the situation accordingly. If the behavior continues or is severe, parents/guardians will be contacted and will be required to pick up their child immediately from the event location.
