Every applicant must have a recent video of themselves singing/leading worship and playing a worship song on the guitar or piano. Please send this via email to summitsoundsschoolofthearts@gmail.com with the memo "Student Name - WLT Application Video". Every Applicant will also need to have their pastor or church leader complete and submit this WLT Pastoral Reference Form. Note: Reference form is not required for applicants who attend the Summit Edmonton.

This is a custom designed track that runs from March 2025 - May 2025 and is open to both In Person and Online Students. Each Track is custom tailored to your specific areas of desired growth and your individual schedule. 

All students will get hands on training and experience in the art of leading worship. Each week you will focus and give attention to a different area of worship leading. You will expand your skill in leading from an instrument, refine and polish vocal tone & techniques, sit in on equipping teaching from our Summit Sounds worship leader, Nikki Mathis, and gain experience leading worship and/or band leading with a full team in services.

This includes:

3- hour long instrument lessons: You will be partnered with a piano or guitar teacher, depending on what you choose. In these lessons, your teacher will assess your musicianship and focus in on the skills that need strengthening.

3- group vocal lessons: You will have group lessons with our amazing vocal coach, Tamara. These sessions will help you identify and overcome your breaking points & weak spots, and discover your authentic sound!

3- 1-2 hour long worship leading classes: Each month you will sit in on a class from one of our Summit Sounds worship leaders. They will cover bases practically and spiritually from how to make a good setlist and prepare to lead, the heart of worship, flowing prophetically and spontaneously with a team, and everything in between. After this teaching there will be a Q&A Time.

3 backstage passes: Once a month, you will come to one of our Summit Edmonton worship practices with the worship leader who taught you that month. You will get hands on experience playing, flowing, leading, band directing, etc., and then you will get to apply what you learned at that Sunday's service. *Students will also have access to our Summit Edmonton worship communities' monthly private gatherings to pray, be taught, and ministered to. Bonus: This year Pasotr Nikki is opening up EVERY Wednesday night SHOP and worship nights to all our SSSOA students.

All of this comes in a package for only $375 before January 15, 2025; or $425 up to March 4, 2025. Payment can be made in full Via e-transfer or Credit Card. 

Online students:

• If leading from piano, you must have a proper overhanging tripod where your hand placement on the keys can be seen clearly.
• You will have to lead worship at least once a month and provide a video or livestream link to that service. This may be at your church, at a small group, outside with some friends, or even in your living room with your family, get creative with it. After this, you will have a follow up conversation with the worship leader that taught you the previous week to talk about how it went, things to work on, and ways you can lead more effectively. (This is your backstage pass)
• You must have a strong WiFi connection to ensure an effective class without issues.
